WHO’S WHO

Dan Rowbottom is a film maker, animator and comic book creator. He created the cult comics ‘The Bread Monkey Mask’, ‘Hypno-squirrels’,'The Dog from the Future’,'Mooples without Scruples’ and many others.

Dan is a trained animator and has worked on a variety of funded short film projects with Rowbot Street CIC as well as facilitating animation and filmmaking workshops at BBC 21CC in Manchester.

This movie is a collaboration between many different artists around the world. Rowbot Street produce short films with young people, they have worked on a Film Council ‘First Light Movies‘ Project. More recently they’ve worked on a film about the First World War called ‘PALS’ (funded by the Heritage Lottery Fund). Each project enabled young people to take key roles in the making of the film.

From the responses we’ve had so far we know that there is a wealth of talent out there eager to make films. ‘Raven Waiting’ will create opportunities for young people to work on all aspects of the production of the film.
