Juliette

Juliette’s journey begins with the voices she hears coming from beyond the wall. Whilst everyone else prepares to repel the menace beyond the wall, Juliette wants to meet the voices and find out what is tormenting her. She’s alone and isolated but she’s strong and sees things through to the end.

Cortley

Cortley is a young conscripted soldier, a believer in the wall and the evil beyond, and ready to fight for his town. When he and Juliette first meet at night, out after curfew, Cortley’s loyalties are divided and he must choose between Juliette and the town he defends. Thretch has his eye on Cortley and seeks to bring him under his control.

Thretch

A senior officer in the town’s guards Thretch has the appearance of a true patriot of the town. He helps defends the town from the evil beyond the wall but beneath the surface he’s a sinister manipulator seeking to gain as much advantage out of the situation as possible. He meets Juliette and takes pleasure in getting in her way.

Corvus

Leader of the Protectors, Corvus defends the town from the evil beyond the wall. However unlike Cortley and the other soldiers, the protectors know what’s really happening in the town, and the truth is more sinister than the town’s people could possibly realise. He hides out at an old bookstore.

Oracle

A mysterious sprite that lives with the protectors and helps Juliette find the her way when lost.
